Sage Training
Privacy Policy

Who We Are
Sage Training is a training platform built and operated by its practitioner and a small operating team. This policy describes what information we collect through sage.training, how we use it, and how to reach us with questions or requests.
Information We Collect
When you enter your email to begin the drip sequence, we store your email address, the date you subscribed, the general source of the signup (for example, the homepage or an email link), and a hashed version of your IP address. We never store your raw IP address.
If you create a full account, we additionally store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text and cannot recover it if you forget it -- only reset it.
If you log training sessions on your dashboard, we store what you choose to log: the session, the date, any notes you write, any progress photos you upload, and any metrics you enter.
If you opt into Signal Fire, our member directory, we additionally store the avatar photo you upload, your bio, and the tags you select to describe what you're training for or what you offer. None of this is visible to other members until you turn directory visibility on, and turning it off again removes you from the directory without deleting your tags.
Signal Fire: Directory, Messaging, and Blocking
Signal Fire is off by default. If you turn it on, your display name, avatar, bio, and tags become visible to other members in the directory. You can turn this off at any time from your dashboard.
Messages you send to another member through Signal Fire are stored so both people in that conversation can read them. We do not read member-to-member messages as a matter of course.
If you block another member, we store that record so we can stop further contact between you. If you report another member, that report is sent to us the same way a direct message to us is, so our team can review it -- reporting is not a separate, automated moderation system, it puts the matter in front of a person.
How We Use Information
We use your email to send the training content you signed up for, to operate your account if you register, and to respond if you contact us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies and Sessions
The platform uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in and a token to protect forms from cross-site attacks. Neither is used for tracking or advertising. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this site.
How We Protect Your Information
Passwords are hashed with a strong, industry-standard algorithm before storage. IP addresses are hashed, never stored raw. All data is stored on our hosting provider's servers and accessed only by the operating team.
Your Choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also stop receiving emails, or ask us to delete your information, at any time by writing to us at the address below.
Children
Sage Training is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let subscribers know directly.
